Targeted coaching for the leaders who drive your sales organization. Primarily one-on-one work with individual leaders — with team coaching engagements available when the situation calls for it.
Commercial performance depends on the leaders responsible for it. Strategy, structure, and systems matter, but they are only as effective as the people who carry them forward.
Sales Leadership Coaching is built for hospitality sales leaders who are capable, committed, and ready to operate at a higher level. The work is targeted, structured, and tied to outcomes. The primary format is one-on-one coaching with individual leaders — and team coaching engagements are available when the situation calls for it, whether that's a focused 90-minute workshop on prospecting or a multi-session development program for a broader sales team.
Coaching plans are tailored to each leader, but the work consistently strengthens these four capabilities. They are the foundation of sales leadership effectiveness.
The capacity to see beyond the immediate. Translating market dynamics into commercial priorities, anticipating challenges, and making confident decisions when the path forward is uncertain. The shift from operator to strategist.
Setting clear expectations, structuring meaningful performance conversations, and holding the team accountable to outcomes. Building the cadence and rigor that turns activity into results.
Communicating with clarity across the organization: up to ownership, across to peers, and down to the team. Building the influence and presence required to align cross-functional partners around shared commercial priorities.
The composure, judgment, and command that distinguishes senior leadership. Developing the gravitas to be trusted with bigger decisions, broader scope, and the influence that comes with executive responsibility.
Coaching is not open-ended conversation. Each engagement follows a clear developmental arc, with defined work at each stage and visibility into progress along the way.
Understanding the leader, the team, and the context. Establishing a clear baseline of strengths, growth areas, and the priorities that will shape the engagement.
The ongoing work. Regular coaching sessions, structured assignments, and applied practice between sessions. Progress is measured against the priorities defined at the outset.
Reinforcing the work. New capabilities become consistent behaviors. The leader operates at the higher level independently, with the coaching relationship structured to step back as integration takes hold.
A few common scenarios we see, and the kind of leader for whom this engagement is built.
We have a strong leader who's been recently promoted, and we want to set them up for success.
Our sales leader is capable, but they're stuck at the current level. We need them to grow into the next.
We're investing in our high-potential leaders. We want them ready before the opportunity opens.
Each coaching engagement is structured around the leader's specific development priorities. The framework below outlines how the work typically takes shape.
The primary engagement is one-on-one coaching with an individual leader — structured but conversational, designed to surface the patterns and dynamics that will not show up in any other forum. Team coaching engagements are also available, ranging from focused single-session workshops to multi-session development programs for a broader sales team. Confidentiality remains the foundation of every engagement.
Coaching sessions are typically scheduled bi-weekly for 60 to 90 minutes. Between sessions, the leader applies specific work in their day-to-day role, with progress reviewed at the next session.
A clear set of development priorities is established at the outset, based on the leader's role, growth opportunities, and the outcomes the organization is investing in. Scope is reviewed quarterly and refined as the work progresses.
Length is shaped by the development priorities and the work required to embed them. Shorter engagements suit targeted capability development. Longer engagements suit leaders growing into a meaningful new scope or stage. Team coaching can be a single session or a structured series.
Sales leadership coaching is often confused with general executive coaching, mentorship, or therapy. It is none of those. This is what the work is, and the boundary of what it is not.
